Angel Signs has been in operation since 1998, moving into our current custom built premises in 2010. Although a small team, we pride themselves on our attention to detail, quality, prompt service and competitive costs. Jay Angel is the face and founder of Angel Signs with varied experience in many fields. He is a qualified graphic designer and signwriter and manages your signage job from measure, quote and fabrication to installation. Trudy Angel has a sales & marketing background and manages the administration & financial side of Angel Signs. We have recently welcomed an amazing graphic designer to our team and an experienced signwriter with a varied background (spanning over 25yrs)!

In 2012 Angel Signs proudly took home another national award at the Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA) for full wrap vehicle signage (Bronze). We also proudly won the Best Business Non-Tourism Category at the Whitsunday Tourism Awards 2012. Late 2011, Angel Signs again won Bronze at the SGIAA (Screenprinting & Graphic Imaging Association of Australia) for best vehicle signage. Both alternate biennial events attracting industry representatives and finalists from all over Australia as well as New Zealand.

In short, if it doesn't look perfect to you we want to know about it and we will fix it!
Signage Production Process
There are 5 steps to producing your sign:
- Discuss the Concept: often including a site inspection for your signage, we discuss your needs, ideas and options that best suit your business & location
- Provide a Quote: based on concept discussions, the quote often has options, helping meet your budget and provide the best outcome. If the quote is over $500 we may ask for a 50% deposit prior to commencing.
- Commence Artwork: once the quote is approved in writing, we commence artwork and/or you get your designer of choice to supply artwork (see below for formats). If you require artist impressions and/or artwork to be supplied prior to accepting the quote this is charged at an hourly rate.
- Fabrication: once artwork is approved, fabrication of the signage commences. Depending on the processes involved, this can range from 2 days up to 2 or more weeks (this will be discussed in detail with you).
- Installation: (if applicable) we will liaise with you as to when is the best time to install your signage. Once the installation is completed, final payment will be due.

We accept the following file types for finished art or logos:
- .eps file
- .jpg (high resolution only)
- .ai
If you have any questions and/or have another preferred file type, please contact us any time to discuss further. We cannot use images from a website (too low resolution), and we do not accept CorelDraw or Word documents.
Our Machinery
We pride ourselves at keeping abreast with the latest in technology and machinery to manufacture your signs. Our top of the line Roland printer is a SOLJET ProIII XC-540 and all computers are Apple Macs. We have recently taken delivery of a new a CNC Router (Impact - Thunder from Sign Essentials) which has increased our product base remarkably.

Angel Signs is located at 3/15 Carlo Drive, Cannonvale - The Whitsundays' newest industrial estate, conveniently close to Centro Shopping Centre. Training
We continue to ensure our staff at Angel Signs are qualified with the latest training and signage certifications. We have a vast portfolio of previous experiences that compliment the signage industry. From years of sales & marketing experience, graphic design, production management, and even painting and cabinet making.
Signage Expo
Annually we try to attend at least one of the national signage expos that showcase new and innovative ideas and materials. In 2012 we attended both the Sydney & Gold Coast VIIE Sign Expos. Not only does this ensure we are kept abreast with the most modern options available but it allows us to sharpen the bottom line and negotiate better deals with suppliers and stock.
